
Malena Orduna Alegria is a postdoctoral researcher in the HydroEcology of Anthropogenic Landscapes research group at the Kansas Geological Survey (HEAL@KGS). Her research integrates interdisciplinary qualitative and quantitative approaches across socioeconomic, hydrologic, and climate science domains to assess risks and adaptive capacities to complement existing policies. Malena earned her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from UASLP, Mexico, her M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering and Management from Uni Stuttgart, Germany, and her Ph.D. in Socio-Hydrology from TU Dresden, Germany.
